SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Junior defender Alyssa Clark (Gorham, Maine) earned her first weekly honor with the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) this week. Clark earned Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts against CCC opponent Western New England in a 6-1 victory this past weekend which moved the Gulls to 3-3 in conference play.
In the victory Clark was a key contributor on all aspects of the field. While anchoring a strong defense that held the Golden Bears to only seven shots (five on goal) the junior tallied her second defensive save on the season. Clark was also a force in the offensive end for the Gulls as she netted her second goal of the season off a penalty corner.
In the impressive 6-1 over the Golden Bears, alongside Clark, five other Gulls scored in the contest.
Endicott will pick up again on Wednesday, October 16th as they host CCC opponent Roger Williams at 4:00 p.m.
