Equestrian Finishes Fourth At Home Show

BOXFORD, Mass. – The Endicott equestrian team finished fourth overall out of 11 teams at its own home show last weekend behind blue ribbon performances from Meredith Bemus (Wilton, Conn.), McKenzie Paiva (Mansfield, Mass.), and Kelly Rhinelander (Georgetown, Mass.).

Bemus was first in novice fences, while Paiva ranked first in intermediate flat for the Gulls, and Rhinelander placed first overall in advanced walk trot canter.

Meanwhile, Endicott also received red ribbon placements from Nicole McClellan (Tolland, Mass.), Silvia Graf (New London, N.H.), and Morgan Entwistle (Trumbull, Conn.). McClellan and Graf rode in open fences and open flats, respectively, while Entwistle competed in novice flat.

OTHER SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

  • Graf also placed fourth in open fences.
  • Gianna D'Aprile (Millis, Mass.) was sixth in intermediate fences, and Lillian Dugan (Butler, N.J.) finished sixth in intermediate flat.
  • Maddie Bridge (Anaheim Hills, Calif.) and Julia Cirignanon (Winchester, Mass.) placed third and fourth, respectively, in novice flat.
  • Jessica Hemphill (Essex Junction, Vt.) came in fifth in advanced walk trot canter.

Endicott will compete in the Dartmouth show on Saturday, November 5 in Etna, N.H.
