Equestrian Places First, Earns High Point Ribbon Honors At Middlebury Show

NEW HAVEN, Vt. – The Endicott equestrian team opened up its 2016 season in style on Saturday evening at the Middlebury College show as the Gulls posted a first place finish out of 10 teams and also brought home the high point ribbon.

Endicott's high point ribbon performance was sparked by first place finishes via Meredith Bemus (Wilton, Conn.), Maddie Bridge (Anaheim Hills, Calif.), Gianna D'Aprile (Millis, Mass.), Silvia Graf (New London, N.H.), and McKenzie Paiva (Mansfield, Mass.).

D'Aprile produced the Gulls' initial first place finish of the day in intermediate flats, before Bemus followed in novice fences, Paiva in novice flat, Graf in open flat, and finally Bridge in advanced walk trot canter.
