Professional Aspirations

For the month of January, 2016, she was an intern at The Rockport Inn and Suites which is located in Rockport, Massachusetts... she was able to apply what she learned in her classes to real life situations... by the end of the internship she had worked a day in every department... her jobs varied from making 27 beds in one day, to taking reservations, to giving property tours to perspective clients... aspires to obtain a highly competitive internship position at the Beauport Hotel, located in Gloucester, Mass.

Community Service

Participated in the Endicott College Annual Wine Pouring Event... the goal of the event was to raise scholarship money for hospitality majors... her job there included pouring and educating guests about wine (April, 2016)... was also a mentor throughout high school... mentored both middle and high school students on either a monthly or weekly basis... helped students to develop goals, problem solve, and prioritize (Sept 2012-May 2015)... worked as a camp counselor at Camp Triumph... during her two months at Camp Triumph she supervised the care of children ages between the ages of four and six with identified special needs...  was also responsible for helping children to develop appropriate social skills and pragmatic language through games and problem solving exercises (Summer 2014)
