Equestrian Gears Up For Regionals/Senior Day This Sunday

BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott equestrian team will send five riders to Regionals on Sunday, April 2, with hopes of qualifying for Zone Finals. Regionals was originally scheduled for Saturday, April 1 but has been pushed back a day due to weather concerns.

Endicott's five riders competing this weekend in Etna, New Hampshire (Morton Farm | Dartmouth Riding Center) are Maddie Bridge (Anaheim Hills, Calif.), Lillian Dugan (Butler, N.J.), Silvia Graf (New London, N.H.), Nicole McClellan (Tolland, Mass.), and McKenzie Paiva (Mansfield, Mass.)

REGIONAL QUALIFIER RIDES 

Maddie Bridge – Advanced Walk Trot Canter

Lillian Dugan – Intermediate Fences

Silvia Graf – Open Flat

Nicole McClellan – Intermediate Fences

McKenzie Paiva – Novice Flat 

Along with competing in the open flat division, Graf will represent Endicott in the Cacchione Challenge Class at Regionals. 

The Gulls will also honor their five seniors on Saturday for their contributions towards the program over the last four years. Endicott's seniors included Julia Cirignano (Winchester, Mass.) and Morgan Entwistle (Trumbull, Conn.) regional qualifiers Bridge, Dugan, and McClellan.

"All of the girls have been riding really hard over the last few months," said Endicott equestrian head coach Bethany Jones. "They've really been working hard on the goals that we have set for them this Saturday, and I'm looking forward to watching them try their best this weekend, get in there and dominate and achieve their goals this Saturday."
