Equestrian Takes Fifth At UNH Show

DURHAM, N.H. – The Endicott equestrian team produced a fifth place result out of 11 teams on Saturday afternoon at the University of New Hampshire show.

Senior captain Lillian Dugan (Butler, N.J.) posted the highest finish for the Gulls earning blue ribbon honors in intermediate fences.

Endicott also saw McKenzie Paiva (Mansfield, Mass.) and Bronwen Hall (Methuen, Mass.) receive red ribbons in intermediate flat and advanced walk trot canter, respectively.

OTHER SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

  • Nicole McClellan (Tolland, Mass.) was fourth in open fences, while Silvia Graf (New London, N.H.) ranked fifth.
  • Gianna D'Aprile (Millis, Mass.) came in third overall in intermediate fences.
  • Kate Moore (Scarborough, Maine) placed third in novice fences, while Meredith Bemus (Wilton, Conn.) was fifth.
  • Julia Cirgnano (Winchester, Mass.) turned in a fourth place performance in cross rails.
  • Graf also finished fourth in open flat.
  • In novice flat, Maddie Bridge (Anaheim Hills, Calif.) finished third, while Morgan Entwistle (Trumbull, Conn.) and Tracy Crosby (Norfolk, Mass.) were sixth.
  • Jessica Hemphill (Essex Junction, Vt.) came in fourth overall in advanced walk trot canter.

The Gulls will host their own home show tomorrow in Boxford, Mass. at Spring Tide Farms, starting at 9 a.m.
