Fall 2020 CCC Academic All-Conference Teams Announced

CCC RELEASE | CCC FOOTBALL RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott College saw 91 student-athletes earn academic all-conference honors for the 2020 fall season on Monday morning.

Sixty-five Gulls were named to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Academic All-Conference Team, while 26 more earned a spot on the Commonwealth Coast Football (CCC Football) squad, respectively.

In order to be recognized as a member of either academic all-conference team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.3 (on a 4.0 scale) and must also have attained sophomore academic status.

The CCC Academic All-Conference Team is comprised of the following sports: men's and women's cross country, field hockey, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, and women's volleyball.

Meanwhile, the CCC Football Academic All-Conference Team is listed independently from the other because it operates as a separate, single-sport conference under the CCC umbrella. This is due to the CCC taking over operations of the New England Football Conference (NEFC) during the 2017-18 academic year.

ENDICOTT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Endicott ranked second among its conference competitors on both academic all-conference lists, either when referenced individually and/or combined.
  • The Gulls were positioned first among all other CCC programs in the sports of women's volleyball (12), field hockey (11, tied), and women's tennis (9, tied),
  • Women's soccer ranked second in the CCC (14).
  • Endicott topped its combined academic all-conference number from last fall (86).
