BIDDEFORD, Maine – Following our Nov. 9 meeting, the Presidents of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) remain hopeful that our winter teams will have the opportunity to compete in the 2020-21 academic year.

We will continue monitoring the rapidly evolving situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and will be prepared to begin competition if and when we can do so safely.

With the health and safety of our campus communities being paramount and with a majority of our members bringing students back to campus on or around Feb. 1, the conference plans to have an announcement regarding winter sports no later than that date.
