Beverly, MA-- As a result of her exceptional performance on the volleyball court, the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) recognized sophomore Sara Moore as Co-Player of the Week. With the help of Sara, Endicott extended its program-record win streak to 13 matches

The Guilford, CT native helped the Gulls remain perfect in the CCC by recording an amazing .652 hitting percentage. She had 32 kills in nine games, while adding five blocks. Moore is leading the CCC in hitting percentage, and leading Endicott in kills, hitting and blocks.

Last night, the Gulls defeated the defending CCC Champions, Colby-Sawyer in four games (30-27, 30-27, 21-30, 33-31). This was CSC first loss in both CCC and non-conference play. The Gulls post an impressive overall record of 14-4, and remain undefeated in the CCC (8-0).

In last nights' important win, Sara set a school record by recording 21 kills. "Sara has been a force at the net for us, especially over the past two weeks," commented Head Coach Tim Byram. "She did a terrific job over the summer working out, and coming into the season ready to make an impact."

Last season, Moore was a two-time Rookie of the Week, and Third Team All-CCC. She is the daughter of Carolyn Stanworth and Jeffery Moore, and is a Sports Management Major at Endicott College.
