2014 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Women's All-New England Team Release

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Following a 2014 campaign that saw the team post a 10-5-4 (6-2-1 CCC) record, Clare Mansfield (Stoneham, Mass.) and Paige Marinelli (Burlington, Conn.) have been recognized with 2014 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Women's All-New England honors.  The awards are the first for each player in their Endicott careers, and gives the program All-Region players for the seventh straight year.

Mansfield, a senior defender, continues Endicott's trend of defensive excellence as this marks the sixth straight season in which an Endicott defensive player has received the distinction.  Mansfield was named to the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA DIII Women's All-New England Third Team as she led a defensive unit that allowed just 1.0 goals/game on the season.  The senior received First Team All-CCC honors as well in 2014, capping her impressive career that ended with 54 games played, 43 starts and seven points, three of which came this year.

Marinelli, a junior forward who also earned All-CCC First Team honors this season, was named to the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA DIII Women's All-New England Fourth Team. The junior earned the honors after finishing second on the team with four goals and nine points (4g, 1a) on the season, despite missing four games due to injury.  Of her four goals, three came against CCC competition, one of which proved to be the game winner in the team's 1-0 win at Western New England.

The two awards now give the program 17 since 2005 when head coach Jodi Kenyon took the helm.  A complete history of Endicott's all-region honors can be found here.
