Professional Aspirations

Completed an internship with Maine Orthodontics in January 2016 where she shadowed an orthodontist... Also interned with Saco River Dentistry in January 2015 where she assisted a general dentist during fillings and when taking impressions... Aspires to attend dental school after graduating from Endicott... In 10 years, she sees herself graduating from orthodontic school

Cassidy on what she has learned from her internship experiences:

"Interning at Maine Orthodontics gave me a greater overall understanding of the specialty and resources I need to go to school... Both of my internships gave me the knowledge and insight about the field of dentistry which proved that it is the career that I am passionate about going into."

Member of the Biotech Society, Love Your Melon Society and works at the Post Center at Endicott... Also a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) member at Endicott (2015-16, 2016-17)

Community Service

Volunteered at Home Instead Senior Care of Maine in December 2015 where she adopted 10 senior citizens and delivered Christmas presents to them during the holidays... Also has spent time with the American Cancer Association and coached a youth field hockey program while in high school
