  • Lennon Named ECAC DIII New England Women’s Lacrosse Second Team All-Star

    DANBURY, Conn.- Following a 2015 campaign in which she was named to the All-Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) First Team, sophomore attacker Meghan Lennon (Canton, Mass.) was also named a 2015 ECAC DIII New England Women's Lacrosse 2nd Team All-Star. The honor, the first of Lennon's young career, is the 12th ECAC All-Star nod in program history as she helped guide the Gulls to an 11-6 record and an appearance in the CCC Semifinals.

    GRAND LAKE, Colo. – Senior midfielder Ellie Clayman (Beverly, Mass.), sophomore goalie Maura Grady (Marblehead, Mass.), and sophomore midfielder Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) all earned a spot on the All-Pilgrim Region Second Team which part of the IWLCA’s annual all-region team selections. Clayman and Whitney both earned the award in 2014 while this is Grady’s first all-region accolade.
  • Gulls Bow Out of CCC Tournament with Semifinals Loss to Roger Williams

    BRISTOL, R.I. – The Endicott women’s lacrosse team traveled to #2 Roger Williams on Wednesday afternoon for the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) semifinal. Despite their strong efforts the Gulls dropped a 15-6 decision. Endicott finishes the 2015 season at 11-6 (6-2 CCC) while the Hawks will advance to the CCC Championship and battle with #1 Western New England on Saturday.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has released their weekly awards and two members of the women’s lacrosse team were recognized for their efforts last week. Senior Siri Mason (Williamstown, Mass.) claimed her first CCC Defensive Player of the Week nod of the season while sophomore Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) also tabbed her first CCC Offensive Player of the Week honor.

Behind five points and her 100th career goal from sophomore Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) the Gulls soared to a 14-7 triumph to advance to the CCC Semifinal round. #3 Endicott improves to 11-5 while #6 Salve Regina ends their CCC postseason run at 7-9.

Five Gulls have earned All-CCC honors for their efforts as they finished the 2015 regular season at 10-5 (6-2 CCC) as they head into the upcoming CCC Tournament as the #3 seed.

Behind a game-high five points from sophomore Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) the Gulls lifted to a 10-6 victory. Endicott improves to 10-5 (6-2 CCC) while the Colonels fall to 6-11 (1-7 CCC).

Despite the six points from senior Ellie Clayman (Beverly, Mass.) the Gulls fell in a tough 15-12 battle. Endicott falls to 9-5 (5-2 CCC) while the Golden Bears improve to 13-2 (7-0 CCC).

    WENHAM, Mass. – The Endicott women’s lacrosse team traveled to cross-town rival Gordon on Tuesday afternoon for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup. Behind a team high four points from sophomore Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) the Gulls lifted to a 10-7 victory. Endicott improves to 9-4 (5-1 CCC) while the Fighting Scots fall to 7-7 (3-3 CCC).

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) released their weekly awards on Monday morning and freshman Erin McCarthy (Old Lyme, Conn.) was tabbed as the women’s lacrosse Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week. Endicott went 2-0 in their two CCC contests last week claiming victories over Nichols and University of New England. Endicott sits at 8-4 (4-1 CCC) as she head into the second to last week of the regular season.

Followed behind a game-high five goals and one assist from sophomore Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) the Gulls lifted to a tight 13-10 victory. Endicott is now 15-0 all-time with the Bison as they improve to 8-4 (4-1 CCC) while Nichols falls to 4-8 (2-4 CCC).

Rallied by a comeback victory behind five points from sophomore Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) the Gulls lifted to a 12-11 victory. Endicott improves to 7-4 (3-1 CCC) on the season while the Nor’easters fall to 5-7 (2-2 CCC).

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has released their weekly awards and freshman Erin McCarthy (Old Lyme, Conn.) was tabbed as the CCC women’s lacrosse Rookie of the Week. Last week the Gulls went 1-1 improving to 6-4 (2-1 CCC) as they look ahead to Wednesday, April 8th as they hit the road UNE for a CCC matchup starting at 4:00 p.m.

    BRUNSWICK, Maine – The Endicott women’s lacrosse team traveled to #7 Bowdoin on Saturday afternoon for their second nationally ranked opponent matchup of the season. Despite the three points from junior Ellie Clayman (Beverly, Mass.) and 18 saves by sophomore Maura Grady (Marblehead, Mass.) the Gulls fell in a tough 13-8 final. Endicott drops to 6-4 (2-1 CCC) while the Polar Bears improve to 8-2 (4-2 NESCAC).

Behind the game-high four goals from freshman Erin McCarthy (Old Lyme, Conn.) the Gulls soared to a 21-2 victory. Endicott improves to 6-3 (2-1 CCC) while the Leopards fall to 2-4 (0-4 CCC).

Behind five goals from sophomore Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) the Gulls lifted to a 10-8 victory. Endicott improves to 5-3 (1-1 CCC) on the season while the Blue fall to 3-2 (0-1 NEWMAC).

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s lacrosse team hosted Roger Williams on Wednesday evening for a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup. Despite two goals each from senior Ellie Clayman (Beverly, Mass.) and sophomore Meghan Lennon (Canton, Mass.), Roger Williams senior Deven Machette (Norwalk, Conn.) totaled a game-high four goals and one assist to secure the 9-6 victory. Endicott drops their first CCC contest of the season and first overall game to the Hawks in program history as they sit at 4-3 (1-1 CCC) while the Hawks improve to 4-3 (2-0 CCC).

The Gulls soared to a 2-1 week claiming victories over Babson and Salve Regina while falling to a tough NESCAC foe Bates.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s lacrosse team hosted Salve Regina on Saturday afternoon for their Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) opener. Behind a game-high four goals from both sophomore Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) and senior Ellie Clayman (Beverly, Mass.) the Gulls soared to a 15-4 victory to improve to 20-0 all-time with the Seahawks. With the win Endicott sits at 4-2 (1-0 CCC) while Salve Regina falls to 2-4 (0-1 CCC).

Led by a game-high three goals by senior Ellie Clayman (Beverly, Mass.) and 13 saves by sophomore goalkeeper, Maura Grady (Marblehead, Mass.) the Gulls lifted to a 9-7 victory. Endicott improves to 3-2 while the Beavers fall to 1-5.

Despite the four goals from senior Ellie Clayman (Beverly, Mass.) the Bobcats lifted to a 10-7 victory behind four goals from junior Moriah Greenstein (Glenmont, N.Y.). Endicott falls to 2-2 while Bates improves to 5-3.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) has released their weekly awards and sophomore Maura Grady (Marblehead, Mass.) has garnered this week’s Defensive Player of the Week award. Grady helped the Gulls improve to 2-1 on the season as they defeated non-conference opponent Wheaton over the weekend. The honor is the first for the Gulls this season and a first for Grady who is in her first season with the Blue and Green.

Followed behind an overtime and game winner by sophomore Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) the Gulls lifted to a 12-11 triumph. Endicott improves to 2-1 on the season as the Lyons fall to 2-4.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women’s lacrosse team hosted Southern Maine on Saturday afternoon for their home opener. Followed by a game high nine points from sophomore Emily Whitney (Rye, N.H.) the Gulls soared to a 15-6 victory. Endicott claims their first victory of the season as they improve to 1-1 while the Huskies fall to 0-2. With the triumph the Gulls lift to 11-2 in home openers since 2003.
  • Gulls Fall to Nationally Ranked #6 Tufts in Season Opener

    MEDFORD, Mass. – The Endicott women’s lacrosse team traveled to #6 Tufts on Wednesday afternoon for their season opener. Despite the five straight goals from the Gulls to close out the first half, the Jumbos controlled the second to claim the 18-5 victory. Endicott falls to 0-1 as the nationally ranked Jumbos improves to 2-0.
  • Reigning CCC Champions Set to Finish Second in Preseason Coaches' Poll
    February 20, 2015
    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) released their annual Preseason Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Poll which listed Endicott to finish second behind Western New England in the 2015 standings. The race was close as the Golden Bears earned four first place votes to the three for the reigning CCC Champions. Voting for the preseason poll was conducted among the league's head women's lacrosse coaches.
