BEVERLY, MA- The women's and men's cross country teams finished their seasons this past weekend at the Veterans Golf Course in Springfield, MA. The women's team finished 31st out of 40 teams, while the men's team placed 39th out of 43 teams.

The competition, which was hosted by Springfield College, was 3.7 miles long for the women and 4.98 miles for the men. The course consisted of small rolling hills and the race was run under perfect weather conditions.

All-Conference runner Nicole Prokop (Montgomery, NH) finished 133rd with a time of 25:36. Monica Hernandez-Burgos (Mexico City, Mexico) who also had a strong run for the Gulls finished with a time of 26:42, good for 179th.

Junior Scott Baldelli (Marlborough, MA/Marlborough) had the strongest performance for the men's team, running his best time of the season, 29:20. Sophomore Ryan Darmody (Portsmouth, RI/Portsmouth), who had a solid second half of the season, finished with a time of 32:03.
