KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced their 2013-14 Team Academic Award winners and for the second time in the last three years, the Endicott men's soccer program has received this distinction under the guidance of head coach Joe Calabrese.  The NSCAA Team Academic Award is presented to teams that earn a cumulative GPA of 3.0 for the previous school year, which would be the 2013-14 academic year.  The men's soccer team, which has now received the award two times in program history, posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.04 throughout the 2013-14 school year while seeing four members be named to the Academic All-CCC team.

During that same season, the Gulls posted a 9-8-5 record overall and a 4-3-2 record in CCC play as they advanced to the CCC Quarterfinals for the fourth consecutive season.  Over Calabrese's four year tenure, Endicott has an overall record of 38-34-12 and is 16-12-8 in CCC play.  The Gulls advanced to the CCC Semifinals in 2014 for the first time since 2005 and then went on to win the program's first ever ECAC DIII New England Championship with a 2-1 OT win over Colby-Sawyer.  During his four years, the Gulls have also placed 15 student-athletes on the Academic All-CCC team and have seen one player go on to earn CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District First Team honors as well as CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-America First Team honors in Greg Capece ('12).

Both the men's and women's soccer teams earned this distinction for the 2013-14 year, marking the second time in school history that both teams have received the honor in the same year.
