Billy McNamara
Title: Volunteer Assistant Coach

Billy McNamara completed his first season as an assistant coach with the Endicott men's lacrosse program in 2019.

A standout men's lacrosse student-athlete at Wheaton College (Mass.) from 2009-13, McNamara still ranks second all-time in program history in points (218). He also is seventh in goals (112), and second in assists (106) for the Lyons.

Along with those merits, McNamara brings plenty of knowledge to the fold as a coach and also as a mentor to the Endicott men's lacrosse staff. In 2012, McNamara studied abroad in Bhutan teaching physical education at The Drak Tscho School for children with physical and mental disabilities. He has also taught lacrosse at the Jigme Losel primary school and from January through March in 2012 he spent time in England coaching and developing players in the sport of lacrosse.

After graduation from Wheaton, McNamara went on to work in the Wheaton College Admission Office, serve as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at Roger Williams, and later became the Academic Guidance Counselor, Dorm Parent, World Religions Teacher, and football, hockey, and lacrosse coach at Hebron Academy.
