Chris Gugino '11 enters his third year as an assistant coach with the men's lacrosse program in 2023-24.

Gugino returned to The Nest following a stint as Salem State University's men's lacrosse interim head coach in the spring of 2021.

Prior to his time with the Vikings, Gugino has worked with Massachusetts Bay Youth Lacrosse (coach education staff/head coach), Homegrown Lacrosse (head coach), North Shore Storm (head coach), Elite Gulls Lacrosse (head coach), Beverly/Swampscott Lacrosse (youth and high school program director).

Gugino earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Endicott in 2011.

Gugino was a four-year starter on the Gulls' lacrosse team and served as a captain of the program during his senior season. Gugino earned numerous awards including three Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Academic All-Conference selections, the CCC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year award in 2011, four Endicott College Varsity Club honors, the Senior Scholar-Athlete Award for the 2010-11 academic year, numerous Dean's List citations, the Business Administration Award (2011), the President's Award (2011), the Eleanor Tupper Young Alumni Award, and a Coaches' Award (2011). He also was a member of the Mortar Board (Senior Honor Society) and Sigma Beta Delta (Business Honor Society).

Athletically, Gugino played in 82 games (tied second all-time) compiling 20 goals, 10 assists, 230 ground balls (7th all-time), 30 caused turnovers, and 68 faceoff wins.

The Gulls went 65-20 overall (.765) and 36-3 in conference play (.923) during his time with the men's lacrosse program from 2008-11. Endicott also won two Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships (2008-09) and two CCC Championships (2010-11).

Aside from his coaching duties, Gugino is a national account manager for CVS.
