PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — The Endicott men's golf team tied for seventh overall at the Roger Williams University (RWU) Invitational earlier today.
Endicott compiled a team score of 638 (325-313) over the two-day tournament (4/21-22) played at the Green Valley Country Club and Aquidneck Club.
Connor LaCross (Upton, Mass.) highlighted the Gulls with a third place finish (tied) behind a two-day total of 149 (+7, 76-73).
Samuel Goldstein (Providence, R.I.) and Kyle Mahoney (Braintree, Mass.) followed in 18th (tied, 77-81-158) and 33rd (tied, 86-79-165), respectively.
Frank Mahoney (Braintree, Mass.) and Spencer White (Litchfield, Conn.) rounded out Endicott's lineup in 38th (87-80-167) and 41st (tied, 86-83-169).
BEYOND THE SCORECARD
- LaCross finished even on par 3s (third-best in the tournament).
- He also carded five birdies.
- This was LaCross' best finish of the season and third top-10 placement.
