SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Endicott College freshman \#Lance Greene\# (Dorchester, Mass.) has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference’s Co-Rookie of the Week this week as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye. Greene helped lead the Gulls to a pair of important conference victories last week and improve to 10-10 overall and 5-4 in league play.

Greene shared the Rookie of the Week honors with Salve Regina University’s Trey Scales (Boston, Mass.).

For the week, Greene averaged 16.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in two games played. Greene poured in 19 points in Endicott’s 83-74 win over Colby-Sawyer to open the week and followed that up with a 14-point, 10-rebound, five-assist effort in a 98-85 victory at Regis. Combined in both games, Greene shot 50% from the field (11-of-22) and 53% from the line (9-of-17). In 11 games played this season, the transfer from Virginia State is averaging 15.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.7 steals per game.
