Endicott Competes At Stonehill Show Over The Weekend

STOUGHTON, Mass. — The Endicott equestrian team posted 11 top-5 finishes at the Stonehill Show on Sunday evening. Here's a rundown on how the team performed.

Caitlin Laliberte (Westford, Mass.) headlined the Gulls' efforts with a first place finish in novice fences, while McKenzie Paiva (Mansfield, Mass.) and Isabella Jarosiewicz (Boxford, Mass.) produced second place finishes in open flat and intermediate flat, respectively.

The Gulls also received third place finishes from Paiva, Annabella Silva (North Truro, Mass.), Leah Tenney (Yarmouth, Maine), and Brianna Gallagher (Plymouth, Mass.) in intermediate fences, novice fences, advanced walk-trot-canter, and walk-trot.

"The team came out and worked hard for our third show of the season," said Endicott equestrian head coach Bethany Jones. "While we have several places for our young team to improve, we had some amazing moments to build off of. I was happy with their performances and the determination the team displayed today." 

OTHER SHOW HIGHLIGHTS

  • Stefanie Tobin (Rochester, N.H.) was fourth in beginner walk-trot-canter.
  • Kathleen Bolduc (Peabody, Mass.) placed fifth in novice fences.
  • Abbigale Gerrish (Greenland, N.H.) came in fifth place in open fences.
  • Laliberte ranked fifth in novice flat.
  • Jarosiewicz notched a sixth place finish in intermediate fences.

WHAT'S NEXT

Endicott will compete in the Bentley Show on Saturday, November 3 and the Boston University Show on Sunday, November 4.
