Lauren Horth qualifies for Cacchione Cup at IHSA Nationals after Vermont show
The Equestrian Team ended their regular competition season on Saturday at the show hosted by University of Vermont on an up and down note.  On the very positive side, rider Lauren Horth is the top Open rider in Zone 1, Region 2 and is automatically qualified to ride in the Cacchione Cup at the IHSA Nationals in Raleigh, N.C. in May.  Unhappily, Endicott’s Intermediate Open point Rider, was unable to compete due to an accident with her trainer over Spring Break.  This left the team without a rider for that division and resulted in a third place finish for the team at the show and for the year.

The UVM show was a Point Rider event, with only two Open riders and 1 rider at each of their divisions allowed to compete.
Blue ribbon winners were Lauren Horth in Open Flat and Taylor Chisholm in Novice Flat.

Regional Finals will be held on March 31, hosted by Dartmouth College.
