Dance Program Wins 14th Straight New England Regional Title

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott dance team captured its 14th straight New England Regional title on Sunday evening at MacDonald Gymnasium.

Endicott dominated in Open Pom, placing first with a score of 95.0500, nearly 10 points better than the runner-up in the discipline (+9.125). 

The Gulls also earned Best Choreography honors in the discipline. 

As for Open Jazz, Endicott finished first with a score of 92.0250, marking the ninth year in a row the Gulls have swept both disciplines at New England Regionals.

"We are incredibly proud to win our 14th consecutive New England Regional Championship and grateful to have done it at the Nest," said Endicott dance head coach Nicole Sao Pedro-Welch M'12. "We would not have this success without the support and help from family, friends, coaching staff, and the Endicott community. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Go Gulls!"
