MERION, Pa. — The three-time national champion Endicott dance team at the Universal Dance Association (UDA) Battle of the Northeast Championship on Saturday evening at Saint Joseph's University.

The Gulls captured first place honors in the Open Jazz Division behind a 1.7 point differential between first and second overall.

Endicott also ranked second in Open Pom, just 0.43 behind first place.

Today's regional competition served as preparation for the UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship, which will take place from January 13-15 in Orlando, Florida.

The Gulls will compete in Game Day on Friday, January 13 and Open Pom and Open Jazz semifinals on Saturday, January 14.

Finalists for Open Jazz and Open Pom will compete for a national championship on Sunday, January 15.
