Dance Shines Once Again At Nationals

ORLANDO, Fla. — Endicott College's dance team performed three top-5 routines at the 2022 UCA & UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championship this weekend.

The three-time national champion Gulls competed in Open Game Day (third), Open Jazz (third), and Open Pom (fifth) over the three-day competition, held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Endicott's third place finish in Open Jazz also marks the Gulls' best performance ever in the category.

Since 2019, the dance program has generated historic headlines at nationals. The recent four-year span of success features:

  • First-ever top-5 finish in both Open Pom and Open Jazz during the same season (2019
  • The Gulls' first-ever national championship (Open Pom, 2020)
  • Two national championships last year (Open Pom, Open Game Day, 2021)
  • Best-ever finish in Open Jazz (2022)

The Endicott dance team will look to capture its 11th straight UDA New England Regional title in February.
