ORLANDO, Fla. – The Endicott dance team competed at the Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida for the UCA/UDA College National Championships. The Gulls competed against tough competition featuring 28 teams from across the country finishing seventh in the nation in the open pom division.

Endicott was focused, prepared, and driven allowing them to advance to the finals in open pom for the second time in program history.

Meanwhile, last year, the Gulls finished in seventh place in open pom and 14th in open jazz.

"This team has worked extremely hard since May and I am glad it resulted in a strong nationals finish," said head coach Nicole Sao Pedro-Welch. "As a coach, I can only ask for focused, passionate, and determined athletes for the outcome of competitions are always out of our hands. I can say that our dancers demonstrate these qualities at each practice, game, and competition, and I am proud of them."

Endicott will return to action at UDA's New England Dance Championships where they will defend their seventh title on February, 26 at Westfield State University.
