Endicott welcomes Marisa Mandracchia as new head cheerleading coach
Beverly, Mass. – Director of Athletics Brian Wylie and the Endicott Athletics and Recreation Department formally announced that Marisa Mandracchia has been hired as the next head coach of the Gulls cheerleading team.

Mandracchia takes over an Endicott cheerleading squad that for several years has been a fixture at Gulls varsity sport events and hopes to venture into regional competitions in the near future.

“We are excited to welcome Coach Mandracchia as our new Cheerleading Coach,” says Brian Wylie. “I am convinced that we share the same philosophical views and a commitment to excellence in our cheer program, both competitively and providing support and spirit to our athletic programs.”

For over 13 years, Mandracchia has been entrenched in the sport of cheerleading as a participant and coach at the high school, collegiate and all star levels. Most recently, she was an assistant coach for the NCAA Division I Boston University Terriers cheerleading team and prior to that worked as a cheer and tumbling instructor at Cheer Gym in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Mandracchia’s competitive career began in gymnastics at Yellow Jackets Level 8 Competitive Gymnastics and at Bishop Fenwick High School before she entered the cheerleading world. At the college level, Mandracchia was captain of her cheerleading squad at Southern New Hampshire University where she earned her Bachelor Degree in Business with a minor in Communications in 2006. After graduation, Mandracchia continued her career by winning multiple national titles and traveling across the country with East Elite All Girl Open out of Wilmington.

Mandracchia anticipates that her abilities and experience will lead to improved cheerleading techniques and performances as well as a new found passion for sport on Endicott’s campus.

The Endicott cheerleading team will be holding tryouts on Sunday, May 1st inside MacDonald Gymnasium at the Post Center from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Please click the link below to get specific details about how the tryouts will be conducted.
