BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott’s \#Elyse Barbour\# (Greenville, R.I.) had eight kills on just 11 swings with no errors (.727) as the Gulls cruised past visiting Regis College, 3-0, in The Commonwealth Coast Conference quarterfinals on Tuesday night in Beverly, Mass. Endicott posted set scores of 25-15, 25-11 and 25-14 to advance to Thursday’s semifinals against Roger Williams University, who defeated the Univ. of New England by the score of 3-0.

Barbour did a majority of her damage in the night’s second game, as the sophomore middle had four kills on just five swings to help Endicott take the set, 25-11. The Gulls swung at a .357 clip in game number two and received standout defense from freshman \#Ashley Norley\# (Sudbury, Mass.) and her nine digs.

A well-rounded effort in game three sealed the Endicott win as six different players notched at least one kill in the final game for the Gulls. \#Amy Grigg\# (Vernon, Conn.) had four kills and an assisted block in the night’s final set, while freshman \#Falyn Torelli\# (Pelham, N.Y.) notched five kills and four digs.

Freshman \#Jackie Gardner\# (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) notched four kills and a block while Norley finished with a game-high 13 digs. \#Ally Murphy\# (Gilford, N.H.) had 19 assists while Postma finished with 11.

Caitlin Luquet (Walnut Creek, Calif.) dished out 13 assists in the setback. Regis closes out its season at 8-26 overall.
