BEVERLY, Mass. – The Commonwealth Coast Conference has named Endicott freshman \#Ashley Norley\# (Sudbury, Mass.)  as the TCCC Rookie of the Week after a standout week last for the Blue and Green. Norley averaged 4.64 digs per set over 14 sets for the Gulls against tough regional competition.

Norley opened the week with 16 digs in a three-set sweep over Anna Maria, which was the first of four double-digit performances for the rookie libero last week. Norley added 12 digs in a three set loss to Tufts (22-2), 20 digs in a four set setback to Coast Guard (21-3) and then added 17 digs in a four game fight with Connecticut College (18-5).

Endicott returns to action on Wednesday when the Gulls travel to cross-town rival Gordon College for a 7:00 p.m. match-up with the Fighting Scots. The Blue and Green then wrap up their 2009 regular season with a tri-match against Salve Regina and Colby-Sawyer on Saturday.
