BEVERLY, Mass. - After strong showings against Colby-Sawyer, the United States Coast Guard Academy and Connecticut College, the Endicott women's volleyball team has swept The Commonwealth Coast Conference's weekly awards. Commissioner Gregg M. Kaye announced on Monday that sophomore Brittany Phillips (Sudbury, Mass.), freshman Elyse Barbour and senior Brittany Nolan were selected as the conference's Player, Rookie and Libero of the Week, respectively.

Outside hitter Brittany Phillips was equally effective on both sides of the net last week, as she averaged 3.20 kills and 3.20 digs per set in Endicott's 2-1 week. Phillips began the week with 11 kills and four digs in an impressive sweep of TCCC rival Colby-Sawyer, and then followed that performance with a pair of double-doubles against Coast Guard (11 kills, 17 digs) and Connecticut College (10 kills, 11 digs).

Freshman rightside Elyse Barbour averaged 1.90 kills and 1.20 blocks per set, including an 11 kill, three block effort in the sweep of the Chargers in New London, N.H. Barbour also chipped in for three kills and four total blocks against Coast Guard and helped add five kills and five total blocks in a four-set loss to Connecticut College.

Senior Brittany Nolan won here ninth-straight Libero of the Week award after a trio of impressive matches. Nolan had a match-high 14 digs in a key 3-0 win at CSC. In that contest, Nolan posted a flawless 1.000 service percentage and a .935 reception percentage in the win. The senior also added 12 digs against Coast Guard and put forth a 20 dig effort against the Camels. For the week, Nolan averaged 4.60 digs per set.

Endicott returns to action on Wednesday evening as the Gulls host Bowdoin College for a 7:00 p.m. start in Beverly, Mass. The meeting between the Gulls and the Polar Bears will be the third of the season, with Endicott winning the previous two.
