Gulls Compete At Rain-Shortened RWU Invitational

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — The Endicott women's track and field team competed in the Roger Williams University (RWU) Invitational on Saturday evening at Portsmouth High School. The meet was canceled about halfway through the competition due to heavy rain.

Kinneal Dickens (Merrimac, Mass.) highlighted the Gulls' rain-shortened efforts with first place performances in the long jump (15-7.75) and triple jump (30-8.5). Dickens won the long jump by three inches and nearly bettered the runner-up in the triple by a foot.

She also ranked third overall in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.48 seconds.

SCHOOL RECORDS

Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) beat the school record in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:54.18, good enough for second place. Risko edged Hannah Shepard's (Keene, N.H.) previous time set at last year's conference championship on 4/29/2023 (4:54.45).
