BRUNSWICK, Maine — Endicott women's track and field student-athletes Brianna am Ende (East Lyme, Conn.) and Olivia Novello (Ipswich, Mass.) both posted top-10 finishes in the pentathlon on Friday night at the Bowdoin Invitational.
The pentathlon is comprised of the following events: 60-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump, and 800-meter run.
Am Ende highlighted the duo by scoring 2,309 points, a school record (SR)/personal record (PR).
She was first in the 800-meter run (2:29.73, nearly besting her school record of 2:28.50), second in the high jump (4-11, SR indoors/PR), seventh in the long jump (12-11.50, PR), eighth in the shot put (22-7.25, PR), and 10th in the 60-meter hurdles (12.11, PR).
Novello ranked seventh overall with 2,178 points (PR).
The freshman was third in the 60-meter hurdles (10.02) and long jump (14-5), fifth in the high jump (4-6.25), ninth in the 800-meter run (3:07.35), and 11th in the shot put (20-0.25, PR).

Endicott's full squad will compete at the Bowdoin Invitational tomorrow.
