NCAA TOURNAMENT: Whitman Tops Women’s Tennis, 5-0

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The Endicott women's tennis team fell to Whitman, 5-0, in the first round of the 2024 NCAA DIII Women's Tennis Tournament at the Dupont Tennis Courts on the campus of MIT. 

The Blues took all three doubles flights before singles action. 

The Gulls top duo of Lejla Guster (Wethersfield, Conn.) / Ripley Uyeda (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.) fell in a hard-fought 7(1)-8(7) setback. 

From there, Whitman later capped off the victory to take on No. 11 MIT tomorrow in the second round at 12:00 PM.

Endicott captured its fourth straight Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship and its 10th conference crown in program history. The Gulls finished at 11-10 overall and a perfect 6-0 in conference regular season play.
