Guster Takes Home CCC Player Of The Week Honors

BEVERLY, Mass. – Lejla Guster (Wethersfield, Conn.) was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week, as announced by the league office earlier today.

Guster went 2-0 in the Gulls' 7-2 win at Roger Williams last Tuesday.

In her No.1 singles match, Guster won swiftly in two sets with consecutive 6-1 decisions.

Teaming up with Ripley Uyeda (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.) in No. 1 doubles, Guster was victorious by an 8-5 decision.

This is the first CCC Player of the Week award in Guster's career
