NCAA TOURNAMENT: No. 9 Babson Tops Women’s Tennis, 5-0

AMHERST, Mass. — The Endicott women's tennis team fell to No. 9 nationally ranked Babson, 5-0, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday evening on the campus of Amherst College.

This was arguably the most successful team in program history, who was able to scratch out a handful of games against a top team in the country," said Endicott women's tennis head coach Anthony D'Angelo. "We have a lot of things to build off of, and love the support we've been given."

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

  • Babson is 16-1 on the season.
  • The Beavers only loss this year came at the hands of No. 6 MIT in the NEWMAC Championship.

Endicott's season comes to a close at 14-8 overall. No. 9 Babson will play Amherst tomorrow in the third round of the NCAA Tournament at 12 PM.
