BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's volleyball team (18-6) travels to No. 4 nationally ranked Stevens (28-3) this Friday at 6:30 PM. Here's a preview of the NCAA Tournament First Round matchup.
TICKETS
Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for students, $3 for children under 12, and kids three and under are free.
Presale purchasing and pre-arranged seating are not available at Canavan Arena this weekend.
COVID GUIDELINES
Stevens strongly encourages mask-wearing and physical distancing but it is not mandatory.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- The Ducks hold a 13-1 advantage in the all-time series; however, the Gulls enter Friday's match fresh off a 3-2 win over Stevens on 2/23/2020 when the program was also ranked No. 4 in the country.
- Endicott is 8-3 on the road this season.
- Stevens is 15-0 at home this year and winners of 17 straight matches.
- Among their DIII foes, the Gulls rank No. 21 in kills per set (11.78) and No. 28 in hitting percentage (.251), while Stevens is positioned No. 20 (11.85) and No. 10 (.291) in the same categories.
- The Ducks also rank No. 4 in the country in blocks per set at 2.415.
WHAT'S NEXT
The winner of Friday's matchup will advance to the NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday at 6 PM against the winner of Southern Virginia/St. Joseph's (L.I.).
