BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott men's volleyball team defeated Concordia Wisconsin, 3-1, by scores of 25-23, 25-22, 24-26, and 25-17 in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at MacDonald Gymnasium.
Rafa Robert (San Juan, Puerto Rico) and Mason Mallory (Playa del Rey, Calif.) highlighted the Gulls with double-digit kill performances (18, .361 | 15).
Spencer Capps (Lake Bluff, Ill.) also contributed eight kills and seven digs, and Brady Mullens (Aurora, Colo.) produced six kills on 10 swings (.500), four digs, and five blocks (two solo).
Meanwhile, Gavin Emenaker (Newton, Mass.) facilitated the offense behind a match-high/career-high 47 assists.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is now 1-0 in the all-time series versus Concordia Wisconsin.
- The matchup featured 27 total ties and nine lead changes.
- Robert and Mallory both tied their career-high in digs (11, 6).
- Mallory also saw 12 of his 27 receptions correlate to kills (.444)
- Brian Wightman (Las Vegas, Nev.) played a key role in serve-receive going 33-for-34 from the back row in the win (.971, five digs).
