NECC WEEKLY RELEASE

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior Alex Wasik (Milford, Mass.) and freshman Jeremy Doski (Sandy Hook, Conn.) have both earned weekly awards from the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC), as announced by the league office earlier today. Wasik was named the NECC Player of the Week for the first time in his career, while Doski received NECC Rookie of the Week accolades for the second time this season.

Wasik led Endicott offensively in a 2-2 week, which featured a 3-2 win over No. 14 nationally ranked Wentworth, with 46 kills (3.29 per set), nine block assists, six digs, and two service aces. Wasik also rewrote his career-high for kills in two separate matches against Lasell (15 kills, .500 hitting percentage, 24 swings) and Rivier (17 kills, .448 hitting percentage, 29 swings) during the week.

Meanwhile, Doski averaged 2.00 kills per set (26 kills), eight digs, six block assists, and two service aces in the Gulls' 2-2 week. Doski's best single-match performance came against Lasell, as the freshman opposite put home 12 kills on 19 swings for a .526 hitting percentage (career-high, min. 15-plus attempts) to go along with four digs and one assist. Lasell has received votes in two out of the three American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top-15 national polls.
