BRISTOL, RI - The Endicott College men's tennis team dropped their second straight Commonwealth Coast Conference game on Wednesday afternoon, this time to Roger Williams University, 8-1, in Bristol, RI. The loss sets Endicott back to 5-7 overall and 2-2 in the CCC.

Josh Schoen (Phoenix, AZ/Arcadia) got the Gulls rolling in singles competition with a come from behind win over Roger Williams' Jay Dono (West Boylston, MA) in a No. 1 singles match-up. Unfortunately for the Blue and Green, Schoen's singles win was all the Gulls could muster, being swept in the remainder of the singles contests.

Doubles play was equally unkind to the visitors as the Hawks made quick work of the Josh Schoen and Dan Murray (Coventry, RI/Bishop Hendricken) tandem, 8-3. Scott Teller (Granville, NY/Granville Junior/Senior) and Marc Maloney (Feeding Hills, MA/Agawam High) put up a strong fight against Ryan Fayed (Glastonbury, CT ) and Jeff Agonia (Lincoln, RI), but fell to the duo 9-7. The finals doubles match-up seeded RWU's Kyle Baker (Bolton, CT ) and Jay Dono against Nate Buell (Westfield, MA/Westfield) and Parker Olen (Falmouth, ME/Falmouth) with the Hawks taking the decisive 8-0 win.

Endicott looks to return to form on Friday afternoon as they travel to cross-town rival Gordon College at 3:30 PM.
