2017-18 UNITED SOCCER COACHES TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD WINNERS

BEVERLY, Mass. – United Soccer Coaches announced their 2017-18 Team Academic Award winners on Thursday and the Endicott men's soccer team was named to the list.

In order to earn the honor, Team Academic Award recipients must be active members of the United Soccer Coaches College Services Program with a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster.

This is the fourth time Endicott has been named to the list, with the last honor coming in 2016-17.

A total of 773 teams (289 men, 484 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher and a total of 191 schools had both men's and women's programs recognized, one of which was Endicott.

Endicott finished the 2017 season with an overall record of 13-5-3, was Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) regular-season champion and also captured the program's first-ever CCC Championship. The Gulls went on to make their first NCAA Tournament appearance as well, where they fell to Springfield by a score of 1-0 in the first round.
