BABSON PARK, MA - Endicott College scored 12 straight goals between the first and fourth quarters to claim an impressive 19-3 victory over host Babson College in a non-conference men's lacrosse contest on Saturday night.

The Gulls, ranked 20th in the nation by Inside Lacrosse Magazine, rattled off six unanswered goals to end the half en route to their seventh straight win. EC improved to 8-3 overall (5-0 CCC), while the Beavers slipped to 1-7.

Babson built an early 2-0 advantage, as senior Nate Brawn (Topsham, ME) twice assisted classmate Mike O'Connell (Dedham, MA) in the first seven minutes of play. However, Endicott would answer with four goals in the final 6:11 of the quarter, including two by senior Kevin Lally (Derry, NH/Pinkerton Academy) to take a 4-2 lead after one.

The Gulls then exploded for six unanswered scores in the second quarter and picked up two more in the third, extending their cushion to 12-2 lead early in the second half.

Senior Burt Fahy (Needham, MA/Needham) led all players with seven goals and three assists for 10 points, while Lally added two goals and six assists. Junior Josh Gilbert (Simsbury, CT/Simsbury) contributed four goals and one helper in the win, and senior goalie Ryan Walsh (Weymouth, MA/Weymouth) turned away eight of 11 shots that he faced in net.

Lally now has a Commonwealth Coast Conference best 50 assists while Fahy has leads the team with 41 goals and Gilbert's 28 tallies ranks second.

O'Connell finished with two goals for Babson, while sophomore Jason Wellemeyer (Pembroke, MA) tallied the Beavers' third score early in the fourth. First-year Max Owen (Hamilton, NJ) went the distance in net for Babson, finishing with 15 saves.
