BEVERLY, Mass. — The second-seeded Endicott men's ice hockey team (18-6-1) is set to host seventh-seeded Wentworth (5-17-3) in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Tournament quarterfinal round on February 26 at 3 PM. Here's a preview of the playoff matchup.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • The No. 13 nationally ranked Gulls hold a 14-3 advantage in the all-time series over the Leopards, which includes winning two of the three matchups this year.
  • In the first game this season, Endicott shut out Wentworth on the road, 7-0, but fell at home in an OT thriller, 2-1, before downing the Black & Gold in their final meeting as visitors, 4-1.
  • This serves as Endicott's fifth straight trip to the CCC Tournament, while Wentworth its fourth consecutive appearance.
  • Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.) leads the Gulls in points with 24 (12G, 12A), while Kevin Obssuth (Chester, N.J.) paces the Leopards with 25 points (12G, 13A).
  • Wentworth is 3-7-2 on the road this season (1-8-0 all-time at Raymond J. Bourque Arena).
