CHARLESTOWN, Mass. – The No. 14 nationally ranked Endicott men's ice hockey team lost to Suffolk, 3-2, in conference action on Friday night at O'Neil Memorial Rink.
Tied 2-2 late in the third period, Nick Lachaine (Lakeville, Conn.) buried a power play tally at the 15:58 mark to lift the Rams to the eventual victory.
Meanwhile, the Gulls saw Andrew Kurapov (Corvallis, Ore.) and Mitch Shaheen (North Andover, Mass.) pot goals in the first (14:34, 1-0 lead) and third (6:00, 2-2) periods, respectively.
In goal, Cal Wilcox (Pomfret, Conn.) made 29 saves in the win (4-6-3), while Elijah Harris (Haverhill, Mass.) stopped 19 shots in the loss (1-1-0).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Despite the loss, Endicott is 6-2-1 in the all-time series against Suffolk.
- The Gulls fall to 7-3-0 on the road this season.
- Endicott suffered its first loss on the road versus the Rams.
