Endicott, coming off their North Shore Collegiate Tip-Off Tournament victory, has won three games in-a-row and currently stands at 3-1 on the season.   The Gulls will be off until November 30th when they take on CCC rivals and defending conference champions Salve Regina on the road starting at 8:00 pm.

The Gulls outscored the Eagles 50-28 in the second stanza with a 60.6% field goal percentage which included 4-of-7 makes from beyond the three-point line.    Senior forward Aaron Karkow (Uncasville, Conn.) finished the game 3-of-5 from three-point land with 13 overall points.  Karkow also had 10 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and a steal in the game.

Leading the Blue and Green offensively for the third time this season was rookie forward Andre Makris (Southbury, Conn.) who netted a game-high 17 points on 7-of-13 from the floor.  Markis grabbed 10 rebounds, four offensive, while blocking three shots on the defensive end.   Sophomore Lachlan Magee (Melbourne, Australia) chipped in with his fourth double-digit point effort of the season, adding 14 points and five rebounds.

Green Mountain's Carnelius Green (Oviedo, Fla.) paced the Eagles with 16 points and nine boards.  The freshman also dished out a team-high four assists while making two steals.

The first half of play was tightly contested as the two teams tied each other eight times.   Neither team built a lead larger than three points until Endicott went up five at 29-24 with 4:51 to go in the half following a John Henault (Lunenberg, Mass.) layup.  Green Mountain battled back to score eight of the next 11 points to force a 32-32 tie going into the second half.

The Gulls went up by five once again as Karkow nailed a three pointer just 3:41 into second half play, but after back-to-back layups by Green, two points by the other end by Makris, and then a three-ball by Green Mountain's Robert Holloway (Pleasant Hill, Calif.) tied the game up for the ninth time at 43 points apiece.

A free throw by Endicott junior Lance Greene (Dorchester, Mass.) put the Gulls ahead for good at 14:21 mark of the second half.  Endicott would hold the lead for the remainder of the game and stretch their lead to as large as 26 points in the final minute of the game.  Greene scored all nine points of his points in the second half as did sophomore guard Mike Alvarez (Lawrence, Mass.) who put in seven.   Greene also had a team-high five assists and two steals.

Henault added nine points and fellow freshman Matt Kneece (Shrewsbury, Mass.) was a perfect 4-of-4 for eight points in just five minutes on the court.

For the Eagles, Jakerion Ales (Batesville, Miss.) and Holloway each contributed with 11 and 10 points in the loss.
