MILTON, Mass. – For the first time since the 2002-03 season, the Endicott men's basketball put up 100 points twice in a single season after handing Commonwealth Coast Conference rival Curry a 101-86 loss at home behind five double-digit scorers for the Gulls.

Endicott (15-8, 10-6 CCC) rallied behind freshman guard John Henault (Lunenburg, Mass.) who set a career-high with 24 points, eclipsing his previous best of 19 points set back on January 4th in an Endicott win over Salem State

Guards Lachlan Magee (Melbourne, Australia) and Lance Greene (Dorchester, Mass.) each did their part to fill the stat sheet in this game with 17 and 16 points, respectively.  Magee added six assists, four rebounds and a steal while Greene also had six assists, three rebounds and two thefts.  Freshman forward Andre Makris (Southbury, Conn.) and senior big man Erik Callo (Southington, Conn.) both finished in double figures with 16 and 11 points.  Callo led the team in rebounding with nine caroms.

Curry's Sedale Jones (Pittsfield, Mass.) exploded with 36 points, 24 of which came in the second half alone.  Jones added eight offensive and five defensive rebounds to go along with three assists and three steals.  Sophomore Lambros Paplambros (Quincy, Mass.) added 18 points on 8-of-13 shooting in the loss.

The Gulls offense was electric in the first half, sinking 21-of-32 (65.6%) attempts from the floor including 8-of-12 (66.7%) from beyond the arc.  Henault led the offensive onslaught with 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting with three three-pointers.  Magee scored often (11 points) and found his teammates for four assists.  Greene, already the team's leader in assists, matched Magee with four dimes in the opening half.

Endicott trailed Curry 30-26 midway through the half but after a three-point make by Magee at the 7:34 mark gave the Gulls a 34-32 lead, the Blue and Green never looked back by making a 20-12 run heading into the break.  Bennett Knowlton's (Shrewsbury, Mass.) three-ball with 20 seconds left capped off the scoring.

Curry's Jones led the Colonels with 12 points with three assists and three steals.  Senior guard Michael Connery (Narragansett, R.I.) added 10 points for Curry who shot 42.9% from the floor but 16.7% (2-of-12) from three-point land in the first half.

In the second half, Endicott stayed hot and built their lead to its largest at 24 points.  Curry would slowly cut into the large deficit, even pulling to within 10 with 5:55 remaining.  The Gulls, however, benefited from 12 points on 5-of-5 shooting with a three-pointer by Makris to maintain their double-digit advantage.  The Blue and Green also converted 7-of-10 attempts at the free throw line to help seal the 15-point victory.

Knowlton and freshman Matt Kneece (Shrewsbury, Mass.) each had six points off the bench.  Kneece also grabbed seven rebounds and tallied two assists in 13 game minutes.

Endicott hosts the University of New England on Tuesday, February 14th at 8:00 pm for Senior Night.  The Gulls will honor seniors Aaron Karkow (Uncasville, Conn.), Tanner McEntee (Del Mar, Calif.) and Erik Callo.
