Baseball Ranked No. 25 In Latest Collegiate Baseball/ABCA Poll

BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott has been ranked No. 25 in the latest Collegiate Baseball/American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Division III Top-30 poll, as announced by both organizations earlier today.

The Gulls are also receiving recognition in the following polls/ranking systems: D3baseball.com Top-25 poll (receiving votes), NCAA New England regional rankings (No. 9), New England Baseball Journal (NEBJ) poll (No. 2).

Endicott (27-5, 11-0 CCC) currently leads all NCAA Division III programs in fielding percentage at a .980 clip.

Additionally, the Gulls are ranked in the top-50 in walks and hits per inning pitched (WHIP, 2nd, 1.14), earned run average (4th, 2.86), hits allowed per nine innings (4th, 7.38), home runs (7th, 46), home runs per game (7th, 1.44), win-loss percentage (7th, 0.844), strikeout-to-walk ratio (10th, 3.3), walks allowed per nine innings (12th, 2.89), slugging percentage (13th, .523), doubles per game (39th, 2.41), strikeouts per nine innings (40th, 9.5), doubles (41st, 77), and scoring (48th, 8.8).

NOTES

  • This is Endicott's first appearance in the Collegiate Baseball/ABCA national poll since April 22, 2018 (No. 30).
  • During the 2018 season, the Gulls were ranked as high as No. 20 overall.
  • The Gulls also earned a No. 23 ranking on two separate occasions in 2018 (3/27, 4/3).
