Derek Jensen
Title: Assistant Coach

Derek Jensen enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Endicott men's volleyball program in 2024-25.

Jensen is a highly experienced volleyball trainer and leader with a strong background in both playing and coaching. He is skilled in player development, program management, and building competitive teams. 

Professionally, Jensen is the National Director of Volleyball for 3Step Sports along with being the Owner and Director of Volleyball Programs for M0D Volleyball club, He has been the Owner and Director for M0D since 2014 and has expanded from 12 boys' teams and 7 girls team to 34 boys team and 60 girls teams in less than 10 years. The club has graduated over 50 athletes to collegeiate volleyball program. 

Jensen coached the U18 girls team at M0D to a national championship in 2024 and has led teams to consistently high performances in regional and national tournaments. 

Before that, he was an assistant coach at Dominican University from 2014-2017 where he helped the men's team reach their first-ever Final Four appearance. Jensen got his coaching career started at Loyola University Chicago where he was a graduate assistant in 2010. At Loyola University Chicago, Jensen supported the development of game strategies and conducted player training sessions along with analyzing match footage to help provide insights for improving team performance. 

Jensen graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2009 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.A.) in finance. He later earned his MBA from Loyola University Chicago in 2010.
