Title: Assistant Coach

Eric Johansson '23 M'24 enters his first season as an assistant coach with the men's ice hockey program in 2023-24.

As a student-athlete at Endicott (2019-23), the Malmo, Sweden native aided the Gulls to a 68-15-3 (.808) overall record, 49-8-3 (.842) conference record, and two Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championships (2019-20, 2022-23).

His last season on the squad was one for the record books as Endicott posted a 23-3-2 overall record (one win shy of tying program record) and an 18-1-2 mark in conference play (school record for league wins). The Gulls hosted the NCAA Division III National Championship, marking the first team in school history to host a D3 National Championship, and advanced as far as the national semifinals (another school record).

The physical and steady defenseman logged 73 games played, five goals, and 25 assists for 30 points. He also finished his career with a +33 plus/minus rating and buried three game-winning goals.

Two of his five goals came in separate CCC Championship games.

Academically, Johansson was a multiple Dean's List honoree and a three-time CCC Academic All-Conference selection.

Johansson earned his Bachelor of Science in finance and international business (double major) in 2023. He is currently pursuing his MBA from Endicott and is anticipated to graduate from the program in 2026.
