Endicott Finishes 10th at 85th Annual NEIGA Championship

BREWSTER, Mass. - In the final competition of the fall season, the Endicott golf team finished 10th in the 22 team field at the 85th Annual NEIGA DIII Championship. Leading the way for the Gulls was Nicholas Grimbilas (Stafford, N.H.) as he finished in a tie for 37th overall in the 114 man field. 

Grimbilas posted a two-day total of 162 after posting rounds of 77 and 85. The freshman finished just ahead of teammates Clark Brown (Stowe, Vt.) and Ronan Lucey (Bow, N.H.) who shot identical two-day totals of 163. The 163 total placed them in a tie for 42nd overall, and came after Brown shot rounds of 82 and 81, while Lucey posted scores of 78 and 85. 

Jack Bushee (Bennington, Vt.) finished one stroke back in a tie for 47th, closing with a 164 after rounds of 83 and 81, while Thomas Lawry (Westfield, Mass.) rounded out the roster for the Gulls.

The Gulls will break for the remainder of the fall season and resume play in the spring.
