Luke Richards enters his 11th season as an assistant coach with the Endicott men's basketball program in 2024-25.

Richards earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut in 2005.

Richards previously coached at St. John's Preparatory School (Danvers, Mass.) from 2008-2014, where he served as an assistant coach and helped the Eagles win the program's first and only Division I State Championship in 2011. Under Richard's tutelage, the Eagles went 106-30 in his six seasons and claimed the Catholic Conference Championship in 2010, 2011, and 2013.

At St. John's Prep, Richards coached Pat Connaughton, a two-time Catholic Conference Player of the Year, and 2011 Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year. Connaughton went on to play four years at Notre Dame (2015 graduate) and was a 2015 NBA second round draft pick (41st) by the Brooklyn Nets before being traded and signing a three-year deal with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Richards has been an employee of Lynn Classical High School (Lynn, Mass.) since August 2012, where he teaches Instructional Technology computer classes and assists the Classical Rams' varsity volleyball and tennis teams.

Richards currently resides in Peabody, Mass., and was a Peabody High School basketball teammate of Endicott head coach Kevin Bettencourt.
