Adam Conrad enters his third year as head coach of the men's and women's crew teams for the 2015-16 academic year. Conrad will lead a Gulls team that has experienced tremendous growth in recent years.

Conrad, who coached the novice team in the fall 2010 and spring 2012 seasons, led the women’s novice squads to New England Collegiate Rowing League (NECRL) championships in both of those seasons.

Conrad came to Endicott after coaching the Hudson River Rowing Association’s (HRRA) intermediate program starting in the fall of 2006.  The following spring, Conrad led Rhinebeck, New York’s varsity team to medals at several local events and placed crews into finals at the New York State Championships.

Conrad’s competitive experience stems from four years of rowing at Syracuse University where he stroked the varsity 8+ at the 2004 Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) National Championships and the 2004 Head of the Charles Regatta.

He was also a four-year standout and an All-Hudson Valley First Teamer for the F.D. Roosevelt High School rowing team that won the 2002 New York State Championships as stroke of the varsity 4+.  Conrad’s midweight 8+ also placed second in the 2001 championships.  Conrad was a part of winning crews at the Empire State Games Scholastic 4+ in 2000 and the open 4+ in 2003 and 2005.  From 1999-2002, Conrad and his teammates made the finals at both the Scholastic Rowing Association (SRA) Championships and the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, the largest high school regatta in the United States.  He has raced in numerous Head of the Charles events, the United States Rowing Summer Nationals, and the Canadien Henley.
