A standout middle hitter on the volleyball team, Jennifer Peterson Coggins, helped pave the way as Endicott moved from the two year NJCAA to the four year NCAA Division III.  She was a two-time First Team NJCAA Region XXI selection, capping it with NJCAA All-American honors in 1991.  In pursuit of her All-American status she was named the 1991 MVP of the Region XXI Tournament, was nationally ranked in service aces, and earned a All-CSAC First Team selection.  In 1993, Endicott’s first year in the NCAA, she was named to the All-NEWAC First Team.  Coach Jan Stannard described her as “one of those players who motivates and inspires the players around her.  She’s a workhorse and a leader.”
